Evening Receptions

Every Wedding is a unique experience, catered to suit the taste, needs and budget of each Bride and Groom.

The Prince Albert Suite can cater for up to 180 people, and is now fully air conditioned. Our experienced staff can help and advise you throughout your planning, from recommending entertainment, a band or a disco, to arranging welcome drinks, flowers and photographers (more details can be found on the Suppliers page too).

In addition to being a great venue for Weddings receptions, The Empress Hotel also provides a great setting for engagement parties, whether it’s introducing the families for the first time or just getting together with friends. With a wide variety of options from a buffet to a sit down meal, we will work together with you to tailor every aspect of your event. A small room hire charge may apply depending on numbers and your chosen date.

Guests are able to book specially reduced accommodation rates at the hotel, and relax in the knowledge that they can enjoy a lazy morning after breakfast before travelling home.
